MISSION
STATEMENT
EMA
Resources is a company that provides affordable web design solutions
to Emergency Management Agencies across the United States. We
provide a complete and in-depth collection of EMA information,
tools, and resources - collected in 280+ pages - for just a
fraction of the cost of a traditional web site this size. We
strive to meet our goal through the following four assets:
- our knowledge base of disaster/emergency related licensed
content included in each web design package. We provide Emergency
Management Agencies with an educational resource for both emergency
/ professional personnel and the public within their jurisdiction.
- a library of information that is always being expanded. Once
a client has a web site, they will receive all of these updates
free. If there is something that they wish to see added to the
site, we encourage all suggestions in our effort to serve our
clients to the best of our ability.
- an area set aside specifically to fulfill the needs of each
EMA client, which includes local weather forecasts and radars,
areas for EMA related alerts, a calendar of events, local news
bulletins, staff related pages, local links, and much more.
- the capability of being easily updated using software included
in the design package, giving clients control over their local
content- an invaluable option, especially when there is a need
to quickly dispense information, instructions, or alerts to
the public.
EMA Resources is a division of Telego Computer Solutions, LLC.
It was established on July 2, 2001, when its founder, Tom Telego,
pinpointed the need for an all encompassing knowledge base of
emergency and disaster information that would be accessible
to both the public and Emergency Management Agencies through
the World Wide Web. From that day, EMA Resources has expanded
and grown into the company it is today - one where its staff
is comprised of not only people well versed in the world of
web design and development, but also are emergency managers,
licensed health care professionals, emergency medical technicians,
and police officers.
VISION STATEMENT
With our continually expanding information library and our wide
array of emergency/health care based employees, EMA Resources'
goal is to grow into an all encompassing emergency/disaster
related think tank, and evolve into a central location on the
World Wide Web for consultation and collaboration of emergency/disaster
based ideas and information between Emergency Management Agencies.
We also strive to be the preferred web design group for emergency
management agencies, health departments, and other disaster/emergency
related government agencies.
